A new Prescribing Resource has been added to the website which details the effect different types of gastric surgery can have on the absorption of antiretrovirals. Three different types of surgery are considered – bariatric surgery, small bowel resection, colonic resection – and their known and expected effects on ARV pharmacokinetics are described.
